Vidya Balan: Stars in extreme

Vidya BalanActress Vidya Balan such a star who started her filmy career from a woman oriented movie and never looking back. It can be also said that Vidya Balan is also very lucky than other bollywood actresses who struggling for some works under the big banners and Balan achieves easily all this by destiny. During all these happenings the pretty lady is in criticism and gossips, according to some sources Balan arguments with her costume designer and filmmakers a lot.

Vidhya Balan refuses to act in Pradeep Sarkar’s movie “Laaga Chunari Mein Daag” with actress Rani Mukerji. Source says that Vidya didn’t interested doing a second lead role so she denied it, now it portrait by Konkona Sen Sharma. As the concern Pradeep Sarkar directed Vidya Balan in his film Parineeta as a lead actress.

The other troubled director is Sudhir Mishra who wants to sign Balan for his film Khoyya Khoyya Chand (now playing by Soha Ali Khan) but the beautiful actress refusing him too, she had few questions on the film and the director didn’t take it well.

South Indian director Shaji N Karun is also whose film Suryamukhi at the floor and didn’t accept by Balan. On this refusal she says that she liked the role and keen to do that but the film got delayed and when they decided to begin shooting, she is busy in her coming movie “Bhool Bhulaiya”. Obviously one person couldn’t be shoot in two different cities at the same time. Malayalam director Shaji N Karun’s film Suryamukhi is based on the story of famous painter Raja Ravi Varma and now this role will be played by bollywood heart beaten actress Madhuri Dixit.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa: Tragedy Thriller or Comedy Drama

Bhool BhulaiyaaThis Friday comes to take a latest version as Bhool Bhulaiyaa, a Priyadarshan’s comic thriller. Director Priyadarshan has been known as a comedy King after the huge success of Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri. So the people expectations would be increased from the movie and such as the film’s promos had been showcased on the TV screen. Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a remake of Priyadarshan’s national award winning Malayalam movie 'Manichithra Thazhu', which released in 1993. The film was a blockbuster at the box office in Southern India.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa is about a newly wed couple US based Sidharth (Shiney Ahuja) and his wife Avni (Vidya Balan). They return to their home town where Sidharth’s large extended family welcomes them with close hearts. Sidharth desirable to stay his ancestral mansion house for few days during his staying in India but his family resist them due to some deadly secret in the mansion.

Then Sidharth calls his dynamic friend Dr. Aditya (Akshay Kumar) to solve this problem. Dr. Aditya finds himself in the mansion as ‘a man on a mission’. After that begins a sequence of discovery, mystery, surprise, shocks and revelation and the story denotes that nothing is what it seems and what seems, is not… and that the devastating reality was enough to shatter all truths. A mysterious character Radha also has a curiosity in the movie played by Amisha Patel.

Vidya Balan affects in her role and dedicated more effective scenes in the film. Actor Akshay Kumar is well in the lead role and others artist to do justice with their characters, over all the film is completely Priyadarshan’s movie. Film’s music has been composed by Pritam and very popular from the beginning.

Gandhi, My Father: First Flick in Sydney

gandhi my fatherFifth Australian Indian Film Festival (AIFF) will be soon set out on 17th Oct in Sydney. During its 10-days session the festival will travel to Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth also. Last year the festival drew the attention about 40,000 people and many big stars & filmmakers of our Indian Film Industry.

This year is so special for the exhibition the Indian film Gandhi, My Father starring by Akshay Khanna and directed by Feroz Abbas Khan. The film is produced by bollywood star Anil Kapoor, about the troubled relationship between Mahatma Gandhi (Darshan Jariwala) and his son Harilal Gandhi (Akshay Khanna).

It’s enough to say about the film that it has a huge charm in audience and appreciated by the critics all over the world and also got a nomination for the best screenplay category in the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) held at the Gold Coast. Other wonderful filmy flicks with Gandhi - My Father are Dhoom-2, The Namesake, Shootout At lokhandwala, Cheeni kum, Eklavya, Ta Ra Rum Pum and including recent release Rani Mukerjee starring Laaga Chunari Mein Daag.

AIFF has turned into the largest foreign film festival in Australia and give the great feedbacks to those Hindi films which are shot in the beautiful locations of Australia with a number of local dancers and actors. Such few films are Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai, Siddarth Anand’s Salaam Namastey, Sajid Khan’s Heyy Babyy and Yash banner’s recent super hit picture show Chak De India!
